Usability and process management combined
SPYDER initially approached Brilliant to rework an under performing portion of their website, which was also struggling with usability issues. Our ongoing role and purpose is to improve engineer access to mobile equipment sites, via self administered online permits and at the same time reduce SPYDER's own administration overhead, by streamlining a complex approval process.

The overall requirement includes managing the integration to third-party web services and engineer and site owner communication tools.

Through numerous working group sessions with process flow diagrams and wire frame iterations, we fully documented every requirement and understood as many outcomes and exceptions as possible. This allowed us to move forward onto designing the front end interface for desktops and mobile devices and begin development.

The Permit Access system uses our very own SPRK CMS. All SPYDER online services are now centralised and supported on SPRK.
