Usability and Integration

Brilliant were selected by Stansted News a digital partner for the Business Air News publication. Brilliant were invited to put forward ideas and innovations for a complete rebuild of their website front-end.

Brilliant provided a full analysis of the existing website, provided a written proposal outlining key areas of improvement and then detailed UI (user interface) visual 'walk-through' prototype. This approach enabled Brilliant to work with Stansted News on the key usability aspects and visuals details ahead of building the website itself.

In this instance, Stansted News had already committed to the 4D Website Delivery Platform, which integrates into their operational and customer database.

Our goals were to ensure that visitors to the website understood the two key product offerings straight away and enabled further access to information quickly and easily. Additionally, we designed and developed a simple graphical feature that enabled content to be tuned to the region of the world of interest and allowed visitors to narrow down content to specific aircraft type.

Brilliant were then tasked with taking the UI layouts and interactive concepts and coding a set of page templates for integration to complete the website.

As standard, Brilliant build the Business Air News website on the Bootstrap responsive framework, enabling the site to display effectively on all device types.
