Gifs are still cool, right?

Are Gif's still relevant in today's websites?

Brilliant love Gif's, everyone loves Gif's still don't they?

To us there is still no better way to add a little animation detail to an icon or a small image, giving it some real character.

Of course if you wanted anything more substantial than a small looping icon or logo then CSS, SVG or even Video for the really in depth animation would be better alternative.

Using Gif's to showcase UI animations and interactions such as the one below, is still ok but the final file size must be taken into consideration.
